I had a lovely stay and enjoyed the pool area, which was well maintained. The beach access was convenient, allowing for easy walks along the coast. Breakfast at the restaurant had a generous buffet, although the service was not what I expected.

It was just a good pick for a flash stay in Carlsbad with value for price. Darren at the front desk was super helpful in getting us a nice ocean view room upgrade with a balcony. Make sure to check on potential upgrades at the desk!

Excellent beach access and room insulation, but parking fees were a bit high.

We had a nice 3-night stay. Loved the clean pool and Jacuzzi, especially the complimentary cupcakes and the beautiful ocean views from our room.

Really enjoyed the beach access and the chill atmosphere! Had a cozy Queen room with two queen beds, and the restaurant served great food. The staff were friendly and helped with anything we needed. However, there were a bunch of kids everywhere, which made it a bit noisy and not super relaxing. Still, the ocean view was fab!

We had an amazing time at the resort! The panoramic ocean views at The Crossings were stunning, and golfing there was a blast. The atmosphere was perfect for a group getaway, and we loved spending time together by the pool. Definitely check out the on-site amenities for a fun-filled experience!

One downside was when we tried to reach the front desk for assistance. it was tough getting a response, which was a bit frustrating.

I had a lovely stay in an ocean view room with a balcony that offered breathtaking views. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly and made us feel at home. However, I found the restaurant's menu a bit limited, particularly for longer stays.

I had a wonderful four-night stay at the Cape Rey Carlsbad. The ocean view from my room captivated me, and the pool area provided the perfect spot to unwind. My only issue involved a slow check-in, but the pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff made up for it.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

I had the most very nice time soaking in the sun while lounging by the gorgeous heated pool, surrounded by vibrant outdoor areas. The beach butler service made my beach experience effortless, setting up my chairs and umbrellas while I sipped on cocktails. Plus, the views from my King Room Ocean View Balcony were amazing, with gorgeous sunsets that made my evenings magical.

Our check-in experience was extremely frustrating. The front desk staff seemed completely unaware of room locations and was unable to make a room key. We had to wait until the next morning to address our room change, which still left us overlooking a parking lot. Despite staying for five nights, our room wasn't cleaned as expected, with filthy bathroom floors and carpets. Overall, the staff was pleasant but lacked the knowledge necessary to meet even basic services.

The Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach features beautifully decorated common areas that are easily accessible for seniors, making everyone feel welcome. The ocean views from the lobby are simply breathtaking, adding a serene touch to my stay.

I had a lovely night here, enjoying the gorgeous ocean view from my room and the relaxing vibes by the heated pool. The spa offered wonderful massages and body scrubs that made for a truly soothing experience. Just a heads up, the elevators were a bit slow, but it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment! 😊
